Project FOREVER Activities

Please meet Marcel Reimann - newest member of #EyeTRU.
Marcel holds a Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany with a specialization in Medical Image and Data Processing and Artificial Intelligence. He is joining EyeTru on the #FOREVER project to implement and evaluate different deep learning techniques on our unique dataset. The project will focus on analyzing different risk factors associated with Glaucoma and utilizing multi-modal data to enhance the performance of deep learning models trained on the FOREVERdb. His thesis will be co-supervised at DTU Compute by Anders Bjorholm DahlJosefine Vilsbøll Sundgaard and Jens Rovelt Andreasen See on LinkedIN HERE

Most of the #EyeTRU group was in Valencia for the EVER EVER 2023 Congress.
It was for us a congress with great impressions and collaborations, and we are proud to have 12 group members to present their posters from ocular to retina to glaucoma to neurological disorder and basic to clinical research. Our Group leader Miriam Kolko participated as co-organizer, chair of glaucoma and by giving lectures during the congress. Read and see more HERE
On Wednesday 27 September, we had our second FOREVER symposium in the Maersk Tower. We had the pleasure of discussing the status and future perspectives of the research in the consortium.
The day was rounded off with a buffet and talks.
Thank you to everyone involved, we are very proud and happy for a very fruitful day - we are very much looking forward to the exciting future with project Forever.
