We are proud of our recent paper in Oftalmolog explaining Project FOREVER. Find it here: https://lnkd.in/e5H9sEAw |
We are proud to announce that another article using data from Project FOREVER (https://forever.ku.dk) has been published. The article is titled "Glaucoma is Associated with Poorer Self-Rated Vision, Vision Concerns and Health: Results from 59,168 Questionnaire Responses". The article shows that people with glaucoma report poorer self-rated health and vision. These results suggest that they may suffer from additional or more severe comorbidities and have a self-perceived poorer visual function. You can access the article via this link: https://lnkd.in/dBuJWa2g |
We are very happy, proud and grateful to have received a generous grant from the Synoptik-Fonden Foundation. The funds will be used to hire a postdoc for three years, who will work with data from Project FOREVER (https://forever.ku.dk) and investigate various new aspects of risk factors and characteristics of glaucoma. |
On behalf of the FOREVER consortium, we are grateful for the generous grant of 13.4 million DKK from Asta & Jul. P. Justesens foundation, which will be used, among other things, to hire a data manager to quality assure the many comprehensive eye data already collected in the FOREVER project. Parts of the grant will also be used to ensure genetic analyses of parts of the FOREVER cohort. |
